Full Restore is an item introduced in Generation I.
Effect
Full Restore is an item that both fully restores the HP of and heals any status condition of a Pokémon. It is the most effective healing item, even more than the Max Potion, although Full Restore cannot be used on a fainted Pokémon. Full Restore, along with Full Heal, is the most used item by Elite Four and Champion in the games.
In Generations I-V and Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield, the player can only start purchasing Full Restores from a Poké Mart once they have obtained all eight Gym Badges. In Generation VI, the minimum requirement was reduced to needing at least five Gym Badges. In most games, Full Restores cost 3000 Pokémon Dollars and can be sold for 1500 Poké Dollars.
In Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon and Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon, the player must obtain the Full Restore after they get all of the Z-Crystals on their Z-Ring in Sun and Moon or Z-Power Ring in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.
