Biography

Pokémon the Series: Diamond and Pearl

Daniel is a trainer who trains his Pokémon through scientific experiments, but did not care much for his Pokémon's feelings. He worked hard to compete in the Pokémon Triathlon with his Snorlax and Hitmonlee. While Ash proved a great opponent, Daniel won and learned some things from him.

Pokémon

On hand

Daniel trained his Snorlax for the Thriathlon using scientific methods. However, Ash noticed Snorlax did not like that and advised Daniel to see what Snorlax felt about this. When Pikachu was captured, Snorlax allowed Pikachu to fall on its soft belly. When the Marathon started, Ash's Pikachu and Daniel's Snorlax were tied, but Snorlax ran faster and won. Daniel recognized what Ash meant and decided to take care of Snorlax by what it felt.
Snorlax

Daniel trained his Hitmonlee for the Disk Catch. While it proved quite a challenge, it was tied with Ash's Monferno in that contest.
