The Sumo Conference is an annual competition in the anime held in Rikishii Town. It takes place in "Ring Masters". In this competition, Pokémon who weigh up to 80 kg. (176.4 lbs) are allowed to participate and only physical moves are allowed to be used like throwing one opponent out of the ring. The winner gets a King's Rock item and a yearly supply of Pokémon food.
