Natures (せいかく, Personality?) are a Pokémon's personality and affect its Stats as it levels up. Specifically, all but five Natures can affect two stats, increasing one by 10% and decreasing another by 10%. Additionally, all but the same five stats affect what kind of flavor the Pokémon will like as well. Natures have the potential to affect any Stat except for HP. In total, there are 24 different types of natures that any Pokémon is capable of having.
Null Natures
Null Natures both increase and decrease a single Stat, canceling each other out and leaving the effect nullified. Pokémon with a Null nature do not like or dislike any flavor of food.

- Quirky
- Serious
Attack Increasing Natures
The following Natures will increase the Attack Stat. Pokémon with any of the following Natures will like Spicy flavored foods.
- Adamant - Special Attack (lowered stat)
- Brave - Speed (lowered stat)
- Lonely - Defense (lowered stat)
- Naughty - Special Defense (lowered stat)
Defense Increasing Natures
The following Natures increase the Defense Stat. Pokémon with any of the following Natures will like Sour flavored foods.
- Bold - Attack (lowered stat)
- Relaxed - Speed (lowered stat)
- Impish - Special Attack (lowered stat)
- Lax - Special Defense (lowered stat)
Special Attack Increasing Natures
The following Natures will increase the Special Attack Stat. Pokémon with one of the following Natures will like Dry flavored foods.
- Modest - Attack (lowered stat)
- Mild - Defense (lowered stat)
- Quiet - Speed (lowered stat)
- Rash - Special Defense (lowered stat)
Special Defense Increasing Natures
The following Natures will increase the Special Defense Stat. Pokémon with one of the following Natures will like Bitter flavored foods.
- Calm - Attack (lowered stat)
- Gentle - Defense (lowered stat)
- Sassy - Speed (lowered stat)
- Careful - Special Attack (lowered stat)
Speed Increasing Natures
The following natures will increase the Speed Stat. Pokémon with any of the following Natures will like Sweet flavored foods.
- Timid - Attack (lowered stat)
- Hasty - Defense (lowered stat)
- Jolly - Special Attack (lowered stat)
- Naive - Special Defense (lowered stat)
